Festival season is in full swing. If you’re planning on attending one or more this summer, you’re probably also starting to think of outfits! Festivals are an excellent place to get creative, really have fun with your style, and pull out some items that you don’t usually wear. That being said, it’s also very easy to blend in the crowd - crochet crop tops and coin necklaces are cute but very been there, done that. Try something new and different this year!

Tie Dye

Pay homage to the original music festivals with some hippie vibes in the form of tie dye. T-shirts, crop tops, dresses, shorts, skirts - you can tie dye anything! If you’re feeling crafty tie dye is a pretty simple DIY, otherwise you can just buy a piece or two.

Matching Set

Be coordinated with a matching set (top and skirt/shorts/bottom combo). It’ll make you look ultra stylish and it’ll cut your getting ready time in half so you can hit up the festival earlier. You can choose from a multitude of prints, fabrics, and colors!

Animal Print (That Isn’t Leopard)

Leopard is a bit overdone and snake print is everywhere this season, so choose the road less travelled with a zebra, tiger, giraffe, dalmatian, or cow print. You can wear the print head to toe or be more subtle with a single piece.

Hawaiian/Dad Shirt

Stand out amongst the bodysuits and crop tops with a comfy printed button up. Choose a fun, bright print and pair it with some cut offs, biker shorts, or a cute mini skirt. You can go all out and make your dad proud with some chunky sneakers to match!

Tomboyish

Flowy boho dresses and girly lace bralettes aren’t for everyone. Unleash your inner tomboy with some overalls and combat boots or printed track pants and a tube top (a la Sporty Spice).

Monochrome

Keep it simple and just wear your favorite color from head to toe. This can be in any form: shorts and a t-shirt, a dress, a romper/bodysuit, whatever combination you find! Use this color for your makeup too for full effect. Bonus: your friends won’t have any trouble finding you in case you get lost.
