The best thing about going back to school is picking up fresh, new supplies. However, it can be a very tedious task if you’re not sure what to get. If you think you’re missing something from your list of back to school essentials, don’t worry, we are here to help you out!
Start this new school year with the right foot and read on this list to find out if you are forgetting any supply:
You can always use your old pencil pouch again, but if it is too tattered, then now it’s the perfect time to get a new one. Fill your pencil pouch with blue or black ballpoint pens, No. 2 pencils, a pencil sharpener, white-out, erasers, scissors, different-colored highlighters, and permanent markers (so you can mark your stuff). You can also add a small ruler, glue and tape. A stapler along with staples is a nice addition too, if you want to be prepared for anything.
Ruler, Protractor And Graph Paper
Avoid the embarrassment of having to ask for them while concentrated in class by buying them beforehand!
Personal Organizer or Calendar
Keep a structured schedule with a personal organizer. You can complement it using a calendar. Use different colors for different dates, especially the important ones.
For all of your math needs, get a graphic calculator. You can use them to solve multiple equations at the same time, plotting graphs, and other tasks that require variables.
Laptops are extremely important studying tools, especially in these recent times where you can find any studying material on the Internet. If you have one already, make sure to have it working perfectly for this new schoolyear. If you don’t have one, consider saving some money so you can get one.
A Three-Ring Binder
Use the binder along with plastic folders to maintain your papers organized and neat. Don’t forget to buy a three-hole-punch so you can adapt your papers into the binder. Subject dividers can also be used to maximize organization. Bonus points if you use loose-leaf paper!
Post-its will be forever your best friend once you start using them. Tired of forgetting everything? Just stick one on top of a place you frequent so you don’t miss anything! You can also use them to make small notes on books without damaging them.
If you want to preserve your books free from damage, try using book socks. Pick your favorite design, and start keeping your books as good as new!
The importance of a good backpack is sometimes downplayed. Try using one that not only fits all of your supplies, but also accommodates to your personal tastes and anatomy. Remember that carrying too much weight on your back inappropriately can have consequences later on.
Things To Keep Inside Your Locker
If there are lockers in your studying place, protect your privacy using a combination lock. Also, you can try putting a small mirror inside your locker with some grooming items like tissues, hand cream, and makeup.
