Fall is almost here, which is always a great excuse to update your shoe wardrobe (not that you really needed one, am I right?). And while it is lovely to feel the sun on your toes when wearing sandals, boots are always guaranteed to make your outfit look that much cooler. Below we’ve listed the hottest boot styles to shop for the fall/winter 2018 season.

Animalistic

Animal prints of all sorts are huge this season for clothing and accessories. Leopard print has essentially turned itself into a fashion neutral, so switch things up with an exotic python or zebra print.

Unique Heels

It’s all in the details, so put away your basic block heels seek out some boots with eye-catching heels. Think angled, kitten, cylindrical, spherical, or straight up avant-garde. You’ll be sure to get a ton of compliments!

Combat Boots

Combat boots are great for adding a cool, edgy touch to your outfit and they’re by far the comfiest boot style out there. What’s not to love? Classic Doc Martens work with pretty much anything, or you can have some fun with a printed or embellished pair.

White Boots

If you can’t live without white sneakers, you definitely need some white boots in your life. They’ll add that same fresh pop to your look with a lot more sophistication. And nothing says chic like winter whites.

Colorful

Just like white boots, a colorful pair will really make your outfit stand out. Red and yellow are big this season but any color of the rainbow will look fantastic. To make the ultimate statement wear your boots with a complete monochrome outfit.

Plaid

Plaid has been on trend for a few seasons now and is showing no signs of stopping. It is a classic fall/winter print, after all. You’ve likely already got some plaid in your wardrobe in the form of pants, skirts, and/or jackets so why not add some boots to the mix? You can take the Clueless look to the next level.

Lace-Up

The lace-up trend is another one that seems to keep on reinventing itself season after season. We’ve seen it in basically every possible form on clothing, but it still looks fresh in the form of modern 1900s style pointy-toed boots.

Textured

We probably all have good old fashioned leather boots in our arsenal, so now’s the time to add some texture to the mix (if you haven’t already). Croc skin, velvet, suede - treat your eyes to a visual feast!
