Every year, for one week, the world's greatest fashion designers and fashion enthusiasts gather in New York City to celebrate the latest trends, colours, and patterns in fashion. It is an event like no other due to the surely present extravagant designs, breathtaking events, and mesmerizing luxury. Plaid Puff

A model clothed in an obscure dress textured with blue and white plaid walks the runway for New York Fashion week. The model is wearing an original Marc Jacobs dress that embodies the essence of a modern winter. The theme of whimsy is prevalent with Marc Jacobs this season. The model’s outfit is giving a fantasy bird vibe that is entrancing and festive for the spring . The flamingo colored material is both festive and bold. It can be worn at an upscale gala or showcased at a birthday party. What it lacks in form it makes up in uniqueness.

This fashion is cosmic and fresh. Cosmic because it is reminiscent of a Hollywood alien depictiction. Fresh because of its natural quality that resembles a flower. The dress is a dangerously festive mixture of carnation pink and orange peel. The first impression is a fruity and creamy dessert. The second impression is a fresh flower field in a European land. The checkered repetition of chiffon then fuzz is bold memorable. The natural mix of the colors together is seamless.

Lady In Pink

The mini dress is anything short of predictable. Chiffon and volume appear to be a point of focus for Marc Jacobs. The asymmetrical nature of the dress gives it a haute 1980s aesthetic that is familiar and beautiful. The color of the dress is a light pink resembling strawberry ice cream and fitting beautifully into both the spring and summer. At the Michael Kors show is Nina Suess wearing a peculiar floor length dress. The abnormal dress is designed by Adriana Degreas for the spring/summer 2019 season. It is bright yellow equipped with bananas on the shoulder. The bananas are fake and add to the lack of symmetry the dress boasts. The unweighted side has no covering of the shoulder or accessory.

Feathers Are Back

The outfit is an affair of causal and formal that many would find controversial. The dress meets below the knee and is inconsistently equipped with white feathers and nude mesh throughout the material. The neckline is conservative and pays homage to the high scoop neck that was popular during the 1960s. The sleeves gently touch the wrist making the cut of the dress conservative but the use of the material liberal. It is finished with athletic sneakers confusing the eye but satisfying the dangerous curiosity that formal and casual create when worn together.

Erika Boldrin wears a sheet metal colored jumpsuit that meets above the cleavage. No cinch or emphasis to the midsection is present. The obscure cut is straight yet formless, giving a turn of the century industrial feeling to the entire outfit. My Little Friend

There is an aquatic quality to this obscure frock that is cartoonish and haute couture. The selection of the starfish color for the principal color is daring but clever. The shape of the outfit is obscure and giving it a theme is difficult. The aquatic color makes it known that it is paying homage to summer fun in an unorthodox way. The shocking tribal dress is one of a kind during the 2018 New York Fashion Week. The neck apparatus appears to resemble both weaponry and tribal accessory. The dual purpose image makes the ensemble more enchanting and interesting. The dress itself is rather simple and utilizes earthy tones found in Mesoamerica or tribal Africa. The fringe finish is a good attention to detail.

Never Being Cold

The ensemble draws inspiration from both astronaut uniforms and winter themes. The pattern of white and purple is not common but undoubtedly represents the winter. Reminiscent of sugarplum fairies and the baggy blue pants make it fun and contemporary. The hood of the coat covers the models head, giving it an outwardly appearance that keeps it fresh because the use of this material during winter is common. The coat seems to tailor itself the further is draws closer to the floor.

Heavy Load

The ensemble the model is wearing has a Southeast Asian influence that is fresh to see in high fashion. The golden apparatus above her head pays homage to Thai nobility. The white dress underneath the fanfare of the accessory is simple but noticeable. It touches above the knee and has a warm weather look that reminds one of humid Southeast Asian climate. The model seems to be wearing obscure outfit that introduces a medley of ancient cultures. The bottom half has a Polynesian attention to it. The top can be argued as tribal African or southeast Asian. Regardless of what ancient tribe it is paying homage to it says ‘warm weather’. The return of the flamingo reminiscent frock. This time a full body image is shown, showcasing more features of the outfit. It touches right below the knee giving it the effect of a coat. From a distance it can be argued as a coat or a dress which is an interesting effect. It is also daring because of the bold color. Regardless, it is eye catching and fresh.

The ensemble is a mixture of tribal and science fiction. The top being tribal because of how the bead threads are utilized. The bottom science fiction because of the silver features that look cosmic. The dress does not seem to have a form. It does have an emphasis, the feathers at the bottom that sweep the floor like a broom.

Light And Dark

The androgynous ensemble is aquatic and fantasy inspired. The colors remind one of cotton candy while the net mesh skirt is reminiscent of nets found on a pirate ship. The choice of the bra being made of fluffy pink material is daring yet intriguing. Even though the outfit is typically female it has a unisex quality that makes it one-of-a-kind. It mixes ideas but they compliment each other well.

The designer is wearing a peculiar ensemble that utilizes the earthy colors of a marsh or wetland. The color is a cross between green and brown but does not come off altogether unflattering. The dress is composed of chiffon and is assymetrical on all sides giving it a look of high fashion. The model besides the designer is wearing a simple gray tank top and wing black pants. Both not being very tailored and very flowy allowing for it to have an edge of causal but an overall look of high fashion.

The entertainer Rihanna is wearing a brown dress that meets right below the knee. The color is a dusky rose that is timeless and can be worn in all four season. The dress is Medieval because of its triangular outline. Marc Jacobs ensemble is very androgynous. The tuxedo top part is a homage to the dandy of the 1920s, a female subgroup of wealth men.The pants can be argued as 1920s for it resembles the sailor pants that had become increasingly popular because of more leisure activities. Bridal Flair

This bridal piece is old fashioned but also very contemporary. The dangerous mingling of gray and pink creates a color that is familiar but also new. The material is reminiscent of a 1920s flapper but is conservative enough to wear on the wedding day. The neckline is engaging for it is a deep V that tempts the forbidden but alighs it with formality. The jeweled emblem in the middle of the neckline balances the entire dress beautifully.

Erica Kim wears an outfit that resembles the goth culture that had spanned for twenty years and died within the last fifteen. The model beside the designer wears a purple and white outfit. The designer and model look like children, but children who were playing with high fashion clothing. The designer Persephone Bennett wears a playful dress with colors associated with little girls. The oversized nature of the sport jacket gives a 1980s vibe to the ensemble. Reminding those of the exquisite outfits Don Johnson wore on Miami Vice. The rust colored suit is an interesting choice for the spring because it is a color traditionally associated with the fall. The beautiful color combination makes one think of Valentine’s Day which is a holiday that is in winter but flirts with the spring. The sash in the middle is beautiful and mixes the dusky pink of the top and the romantic red of the bottom. The dusky pink top is a long sleeve beauty that looks like a piece of an elegant gown while utilizing sweater material.
