You’ve just spent the past week or two at the most fabulous resort, hotel, or Airbnb in the country you swear you’re going to move to. Now it’s back to your boring old life and it just seems sad and dull. Not to worry, you’re not alone. It’s easy to get the post-vacation blues after having the time of your life in a dreamy destination. It just takes a little reminding that home isn’t all bad either.

Order yourself a package to come home to

Nothing beats coming home to a package! Your vacation might have set you back a bit financially so it doesn’t have to be anything big or fancy, but receiving something nice is always a pick-me-up.

Meet up with friends and family as soon as possible

A tropical beach is nice, but it was probably missing all your loved ones. Host a party and gather everyone together if you need to. Your friends and family will always be able to cheer you up.

Have a ‘you’ day

Relax and pamper yourself on your next day off from work. Who cares if you just came back from several days of relaxing? You probably didn’t get the chance to groom yourself to the best of your ability on vacation. Besides, it’ll give you a chance to catch up on all the shows you missed while you were away.

Review your photos

Go ahead, you probably took a million anyway! You can even get your favorites printed out so you have a visual reminder of your amazing getaway.

Recreate your favorite meal

Try your hand at cooking some of the local cuisine you’ve just tried. If you succeed you can add it to your roster of recipes.

Start planning your next trip

It’s never too early! It’ll bring back the excitement you felt before the vacation you just went on and give you something to look forward to, even if you can’t book anything quite yet.
